Microphone scouting at B.C. Place

Sources tell 2010 Gold Rush that audio experts from David Atkins Enterprises Productions were scheduled to be inside B.C. Place Stadium -- Vancouver's Olympic stadium -- May 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to scout locations for microphones.

The stadium is known as the din bin because of the notoriously lousy sound. It has not always been that way. Certain concerts and Grey Cup games have overcome the problem with temporary sound systems. That is precisely what Bruce Jackson is envisioning. The Aussie is the ceremonies' chief sound engineer and comes with impressive qualifications.
